Simone’s plans to discuss her crumbling marriage ended in an unplanned family night watching Pete’s Dragon.

Brynn’s aunt, Fallan Logan, has been lurking around Hunston Hill for a few weeks after time overseas.

She appeared from the shadows at Logan Manor, much to Brynn’s surprise...

But it was Fallan’s revelation that Arthur & Jace share Randolph blood that was the biggest shock of all.

Meta showed up for muse duty at Rafael Vega’s studio expecting the unexpected and she got it.

TJ and Arthur called a truce in the schoolyard. It’s fair to say Arthur is still a little skeptical about history repeating itself.

EPISODE 218 - THE GAME IS AFOOT

We FLASH BACK to T.J. and Arthur in line at the Hunston Hill Museum...

@pandptj Who directed A Clockwork Orange?

@pandparthur You don’t know anything about me.

@pandptj I’ve made my point. We have nothing in common but our family feud. Did your whacked out mom put you up to this?

T.J. stares at Arthur, bewildered. Finally.

@pandparthur Stanley Kubrick. And you’re buying my ticket, asshole.

In the Logan Manor kitchen, Fallan stands at the table, going through a box of paperwork. Brynn’s cell and keys are still on the table.

Brynn’s cell rings. Fallan glances over. Her eyes widen as she sees the name SIMONE RANDOLPH on caller ID.

Brynn enters as the call goes to voice mail.

@pandpfallan There’s my phone. Did I get a call?

Brynn grabs her phone and scrolls. Tries to hide her fear.

@pandpBrynn Simone Randolph?

@pandpfallan I... took a job working for them.

@pandpBrynn I’m sorry, I don’t understand.

@pandpfallan I needed money. I took a job for them under Leveque but now it’s over.

@pandpBrynn Then why is Simone Randolph calling?

Brynn looks at Fallan for a long beat.

@pandpfallan I don’t have to explain myself to you.

@pandpBrynn I’ll find out the answer whether you tell me or not.

@pandpfallan We’re friends.

@pandpBrynn *smiles* Oh, you’re friends?

Brynn’s anger rises. Fallan sits, calmly crossing her legs.

@pandpfallan I’ve stopped lying on behalf of this family, Fallan. You wouldn’t believe how freeing it is.

@pandpBrynn But your Randolph friend doesn’t know you’re a Logan.

@pandpfallan Actually, she does. Not Lyle, only her. She’s fine with it.

@pandpBrynn *surprised* How extraordinary. Your father would be so proud.

Brynn’s anger boils over at the mention of her father.

@pandpfallan If you think you can come back here and pick up where you left off, you’re WRONG. I won’t let you control me.

@pandpBrynn How can I possibly control you when you hold all the cards?

@pandpfallan I just want to live my life. I owe you NOTHING.

@pandpBrynn And your brothers? Your legacy?

Brynn fumes silently. Fallan shrugs and goes back to sorting through the box.

Meanwhile, in Rafael’s studio, Rafael grabs a hunk of clay and splits it, handing Meta half.

@pandprafael I don’t have to eat this, do I?

@pandpmeta No, but this might make you uncomfortable. If it does, that’s cool. We can wait.

Rafael stands up. Meta’s jaw drops as he pulls off his shirt, revealing his lean torso and smooth olive skin underneath.

The beautiful tattoo on his arm wraps around his shoulder. Rafael sits back down. Smiles knowingly at Meta.

@pandprafael Am I supposed to know what to do?

@pandpmeta Uh huh.

Meta looks at her clay. At Rafael’s bare chest. Light bulb.

@pandprafael *excited* I KNOW! I’m going to sculpt you?

@pandpmeta *grins* That’s half of it.

Meta looks at Rafael’s clay. Down at her chest. Light bulb.

@pandprafael Oh shit. You want me to get naked.

@pandpmeta Can you do it?

@pandprafael After only knowing you for 5 minutes? *ponders* I guess it wouldn’t be the first time. Plus you can’t see me.

@pandpmeta You can’t see me either.

Rafael pulls a blindfold off the table.

@pandpmeta I do this so we see each other the same way. So when I touch you to work, it won’t freak you out.

@pandpmeta Then I get to sculpt the real girl in there.

@pandpmeta *smiles* So, my pearl? Are you game?

Beat. Meta stands up and pulls off her shirt.

We FLASHBACK to Hunston Hill Museum, T.J. and Arthur stare at a glass exhibit containing several of Abraham Lincoln’s personal items.

@pandparthur Do you see that? He fixed his glasses with a piece of string or something.

@pandptj Abraham MacGyver.

@pandparthur *laughs* I wonder if he imagined people would be looking at his stuff a hundred years later.

@pandptj He knew his place in history...

Suddenly, we hear a loud electronic ring. T.J. whips out a GIANT grey Motorola cell phone and answers. Covers one ear.

Hello? No, I’m at the museum. With... a friend from school. *frowns* Have Meta go get ice.

We just got here. I said no. Hello? Rosalee?!

T.J. hangs up. Looking furious. Arthur stares at the exhibit silently. Beat.

@pandptj Uh... you have to go?

@pandparthur My sister is a bitch from hell.

@pandptj I wondered how she got voted homecoming queen.

@pandparthur She treats me like her butt boy because I’m not a real Randolph.

@pandptj *surprised* What do you mean not real?

@pandparthur Not by blood. It’s a long messed up story as you know.

@pandptj Sorry, I only know our messed up story.

@pandparthur Yeah, someday we should compare notes. *laughs* Like we’re probably related.

@pandptj *laughs* Like a bad episode of Another World.

@pandparthur Is that a soap opera? Dude, do you seriously watch those?

@pandptj *shrugs* Not really. Dude.

@pandparthur Anyway, my parents are out of town. My sister’s having a rager tonight and wants me to serve her majesty.

T.J. suddenly gets an idea.

@pandparthur Hey. You know what would really freak them all out?

Arthur stares at T.J. for a beat. They both smile.

In the back grounds of Logan Manor, Jace, shirtless, repairs the ornate brickwork framing the pool.

Fallan walks up carrying a glass of cold lemonade, hands it to Jace. He wipes his brow and smiles.

@pandpjace You’re wonderfully handy, aren’t you? How lucky we are to have you back.

@pandpfallan I’ve repaired the pump, with a solar heating system it won’t cost much to keep the pool up.

Fallan nods and turns to leave. She stops and turns back.

@pandpjace Oh, Jace? I’ve been meaning to ask you about Brynn’s friend, Simone...

Back at Rafael’s studio, Meta and Rafael sit across from each other, both naked from the waist up. Meta wears her blindfold.

Rafael rubs his hands together. Meta remembers the sound.

@pandprafael Is that some weird voodoo ritual?

@pandpmeta Cold hands change the texture of the skin. You wanna go first?

Meta nods. Reaches out until she feels Rafael’s shoulder.

@pandpmeta So, what do you feel?

@pandprafael *feels his arm* Like I’d definitely buy your sculpt-aerobics workout video.

Meta moves both hands slowly across his smooth chest.

@pandprafael Do you shave?

@pandpmeta No. Now paint a mental picture of my body in your head.

@pandprafael Oooh, you have a six pack...

@pandpmeta I’m gonna start now, okay?

Meta feels Rafael’s warm hands running up her arms and across her shoulders, sending tingles through her body.

Rafael makes his way down her bare chest, his touch is so soft it gives her butterflies. Meta fights the urge to jump him.

@pandprafael *blurts* Am I supposed to get turned on?

@pandpmeta *laughs* No. I mean, it’s fine if you are. Doesn’t matter to me.

@pandprafael So you’re saying, it doesn’t matter that I’m getting totally turned on?

@pandpmeta I’m sure it’ll pass.

Rafael’s hands slowly move down. Meta wishes they’d stayed where they were. Then, without warning, he’s done.

Meta lifts up her blindfold, squinting from the light. Meta watches Rafael put his shirt back on. She feels aggravated. Beat.

@pandpmeta You gonna put your shirt back on?

@pandprafael *puts it back on* I was just testing you.

@pandpmeta *laughs* Now, try to recreate what you saw in the clay, you goofball.

@pandprafael No matter what I saw you’re going to end up looking like a snowman.

Lydia’s hands shake as she holds up the paper. The headline reads “RANDOLPH BUYS LOGAN ENTERPRISES”
